Whenever someone finds out what I do, then inevitably they ask how we came up with the concept.

Mary Cate and I created Remix in order to fill a gap.

We loved the boutique style of fitness. We loved that smaller studios offered accountability, support and made you feel welcomed and comfortable walking in. We’ve been to big box gyms in the past and they always felt cold and overwhelming.

Yet, we loved that big box gyms offered variety. So many of the boutique studios offered one type of workout whether it was spin, barre, bootcamp or something else. We wanted to combine the best of both worlds.

That’s how Remix was born.

We love Remix and what we’ve created, and we want nothing more than to see everyone who walks through our doors or presses play to get the MOST of Remix. Keep reading to find out how to get the Remix Method to Work For You.

How to Get the Remix Method to Work For You

Take advantage of the variety

First up, if you want to get the Remix Method to work for you, then we highly recommend taking advantage of the variety. We offer SO much from cardio classes to spin to bootcamp to pilates, yoga, barre and more. Mix it up!!

So often we have people come through our doors and they are nervous to try certain types of workouts. They stay away from spin because they are fearful that it’ll be too hard. OR, they ONLY do spin because it’s what they are comfortable with and used to. Though we are excited to see you no matter what class you take, we absolutely love to see you take a variety of different classes because that’s what it’s all about. If you want to avoid injury, overcome plateaus, beat boredom and keep seeing results, then variety is key!

Take advantage of the accountability

Next, if you want to stay motivated so you achieve you goals, then definitely take advantage of the accountability. We’ve got an incredible community of welcoming, supportive Remixers. Come to class a little bit earlier or stay a little bit later to get to know them! Also, be sure to join our Facebook Accountability Group to get that support even from afar.

Take advantage of the accessibility

Finally, if you want to get the Remix Method to work for you then you’ll want to take advantage of the accessibility. We’ve got so many different class times. We are open 365 days a week in person AND virtually. We dare you to find another gym with as many Live Virtual Classes as us. We also offer childcare so you can get your workout on if you’re a parent.

Why do we offer so much? We get that time is the most often cited reason for why people can’t make it to the gym. We want to make getting your workout on easier by offering a variety of times, so you can make it work for you.
