How to Fall Back into Fitness

It’s here!!

The weather has turned, sweaters and boots have made an appearances, and all of the excitement of the new season is in the air.

Fall is my most favorite season!

Besides the weather, the sweaters, and the boots, there’s another reason to be excited about Fall.

It’s a great opportunity for a new beginning.

I used to be an elementary, so that my be the reason my mindset has always been “September = New beginnings.” Whether you are a teacher or not, you can embrace the change in the weather as an opportunity to reset, refocus and realign with your goals.

Here’s how to …

How to Fall Back into Fitness

Set a goal for yourself

Do you ever set goals for yourself? Do you actually write them down and then go back to them to see how you did?

It’s one thing to set a goal and it’s another thing to actually stick with it so you achieve it.

If you want to achieve something, then make a commitment to yourself. Write that goal down and then set a reminder in the future (e.g. 4-6 weeks) to check in with that goal and see how you are doing.

Keep track each week using a calendar or even email yourself or use a good old paper and pencil notebook. Write down what went well, what didn’t go so well and how you were feeling.

Share that goal

The easiest way to stay motivated? Hold yourself accountable with the help of a friend.

Why go in it alone when you can do it with someone else? Share that goal with a friend or something who is going to hold you accountable. We would love to hear your goals and can check in with you to see how you are doing with them later on! Set up time for a fitness consultation with us.

Embrace the season

As it gets colder, head inside for classes, but you can also take advantage of all of the fun fall activities as a way to stay healthy and active all season long.

Head out and pick pumpkins or apples and see if you can cook something healthy for yourself.

If that sounds like too much work or you’re feeling so overwhelmed? Then, make things easier for yourself with my chef healthy meal prep (learn more) so you can spend more time doing all the fun activities you love.

We are so excited to welcome this new season of Fall. We hope you join us in class so you can fall into your MIX.
