The Surprising Reason You Won't Find a Beginner Class on Our Schedule

We often get asked, “Do you guys have a beginner class on your schedule?”

It can be difficult to be the new kid at school. You don’t want to stand out and feel lost and alone. It can be especially intimidating walking into a brand new fitness class for the very first time, especially if you’ve been on an exercise break or have never been someone to take fitness classes.

Fortunately, we do understand that feeling ourselves.

It’s a big part of why we made Remix. We remember walking into big gyms and feeling overwhelmed and unsure of ourselves. We wanted to create a small, supportive atmosphere so anyone could walk into class and feel comfortable and motivated no matter what their fitness level. Our goal is to make you feel empowered and strong and pushed to your potential in each and every class.

Now, here’s why you won’t find a beginner class on our schedule…

  • You’ll find modifications and levels in each and every single one of our classes. Our instructors are trained in the importance of providing options for you during your workout. We want everyone to be pushed to reach their potential in each class whether they are a veteran group fitness class attendee or someone who has never worked out a day in their life.

  • We strive to create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere at Remix. We want you to feel confident connecting with our instructors and staff about your goals and questions you may have about the workout. We offer VIP calls to all of our members to discuss their goals and to create a plan on how to reach them.

So, while occasionally you’ll find an introduction class pop up on our schedule here or there, we really stand behind the fact that all of our classes are good for all levels. We love seeing all the different levels in our classes and everyone working at their own pace, together, to reach their goals.
